Why? Countless reasons.
Crunchy leaves and crisp air and colourful explosions frozen in the air, suspended by tree branches. Earth tones all around. Brighter stars. Even the word October is beautiful – look at that full O it starts off with, just like a pale, glowing moon. Meandering walks accompanied by the earth’s autumnal percussion, wrapped up in cozy layers of sweaters, scarves, gloves… Herbal tea all day long. Burnt orange and rust. Lots of ginger and squashes and soups. Geese discussing the weather in the cool sky.
Fill my ears with sound. I’m alive today.
